HARVEST 2021 CADIBON

The beginning of the harvest is the most awaited moment of the year.

The first bunch of Chardonnay, the basis of the Spumante Brut “La Flamme” detached from the rows of long vineyards that run between Corno di Rosazzo and the Colli Orientali del Friuli, was followed by the collection of Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon – named “best d’Italia ”at the 2017 World Competition – of Friulano, Malvasia and Ribolla Gialla. For the reds, however, the beginning of October was expected.

The thermal excursions of the last period, with rather high temperatures during the day and relatively cool at night and early in the morning, in a fairly stable summer season in terms of weather variations, are indicators of a favorable harvest especially for the aromaticity of the whites. A great satisfaction for Luca Bon, who for years has continued on the path of the logical cultivation method, not only to guarantee the quality of the grapes, but to keep the land fertile and the plants in good health.

“A quality vintage” that of 2021 capable of recounting a development of truly interesting aromas, aromas and freshness, with great potential also for reds.
